OUR Shed IS in THE back of Overlynn Manor at 401 North Esmond AVE.MEETING ROOM
.
Our shed provides a welcoming space for men to learn new skills, revisit old ones, and engage in meaningful projects with other men in their community.
As a community-based, non-profit society, we welcome all men, providing them a safe and friendly environment where members can work at their own pace, on projects that matter to them, while enjoying the company of like-minded individuals. One of our key goals is to promote the health and well-being of our members.
Presently, we are having regular gatherings (Wed 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and Fri 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the back basement of Overlynn Manor on 401 North Esmond Ave.) which allows men to discuss collaborative projects, share life updates, and take part in skill-building or tool training sessions. Members also have the freedom to work together or individually at the workshop beyond our regular meet-ups.
Joining our Men’s Shed comes with countless benefits, from finding purpose to forging new connections. No specific skills are necessary—just a willingness to share your life experiences through respect to other men in our community. We look forward to welcoming you!

The Shed Movement’s History
The Men’s Shed movement started in Australia in 2007, expanding their tradition of backyard sheds into collaborative, communal spaces.
The first Men’s Shed in North America began 2009, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. There are now many sheds established across Canada. There are now about 70 Men’s Sheds in BC. We are proud to be part of this movement as it grows across BC.
